Dr. Khaled Aboeldahab is a board-certified physician who graduated from Egypt in 1993, with extensive expertise in critical care medicine. Renowned for his clinical acumen and dedication, he has spent decades managing patients with life-threatening conditions in high-pressure emergency and ICU settings. His experience spans a wide spectrum of complex medical cases, enabling him to deliver both advanced and compassionate care. Dr. Khaled pairs his deep clinical insight with a strong command of modern technologies and evidence-based practices, ensuring excellence in even the most demanding situations.
In addition to his clinical role, he has held multiple leadership positions in long-term care and hospital administration and has recently been involved in the evaluation and trial of medical AI applications, reflecting his passion for integrating innovation into patient care and healthcare systems.


Khaled's Story

Throughout his career, Dr. Khaled Aboeldahab has been deeply committed to raising the standard of care in long-term care (LTC) facilities across the UAE. From developing innovative treatment models to adopting cutting-edge healthcare technologies, he has consistently worked to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
In addition to his clinical background, Dr. Khaled brings extensive administrative expertise, having served as the CEO and founder of Burjeel Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation at Burjeel Medical City. He was the visionary behind Burjeel Darak, establishing it from the ground up and transforming it into one of Abu Dhabi’s largest and most advanced rehabilitation and LTC centers, and the only unit equipped to manage critically ill long-term acute care (LTAC) patients. Under his leadership, the unit expanded rapidly in capacity, scope, and complexity, playing a pivotal role in the healthcare ecosystem.
Dr. Khaled’s leadership also extended to medical education and talent development. He actively supported and mentored many general practitioners within the unit, guiding them toward postgraduate certification and specialist status, thereby contributing significantly to the advancement of medical standards in the region.
His mission remains focused on creating welcoming, compassionate environments where patients can heal, regain independence, and live fulfilling lives. He continues to advocate for accessible, high-quality LTC services while integrating clinical excellence with innovation and professional development.
